The set includes 2 metres of soft, white-transparent silicone tubing, clear suction cups and a transparent check valve. The tubing is designed for connection between CO₂ glassware components, while the suction cups help secure tubing neatly along the aquarium.

Its clear/transparent appearance works particularly well with minimalist aquascapes where keeping equipment visually discreet is important.

The check valve helps prevent unwanted water backflow toward connected CO₂ equipment. ADA recommends replacing the check valve periodically and replacing the silicone tubing when required because these components can harden or degrade with prolonged use.

🛠️ How to Use

1. Connect the appropriate end of the silicone tubing to your aquarium CO₂ glassware.
2. Route the tubing neatly along the aquarium.
3. Use the supplied suction cups to secure the tubing.
4. Install the check valve in the correct direction according to the valve’s flow marking.
5. Check all connections before operating the CO₂ system.
6. Inspect the tubing, suction cups and check valve periodically and replace worn components.

⚠️ Important Tubing Note

ADA specifically distinguishes its silicone-type tubing from pressure-resistant tubing. The pressure-resistant tube should be used on the supply side between the CO₂ regulator and check valve; the silicone tubing supplied in the Clear Parts Set is intended for connection to the glassware side. It should not be connected directly to the regulator as a high-pressure line.
