ADA Super Pour 100

Create a strong foundation for your planted aquarium with ADA Super Pour 100, a substrate additive set designed to support the biological environment within the aquarium substrate. Formerly known as ADA Super 4, the set combines Bacter 100, Clear Super and Tourmaline BC.

The three components are designed to work together during aquarium setup. Bacter 100 contains more than 100 types of dormant substrate bacteria, while Clear Super contains activated carbon and organic acid to support microorganism growth. Tourmaline BC combines tourmaline and bamboo charcoal and is designed to help improve the substrate environment.

ADA recommends using these substrate additives as part of the base substrate system during aquarium setup. They can help establish a favorable environment for microorganisms and support the long-term development of a planted aquarium substrate.

Components & Functions

1. ADA Bacter 100

Contains more than 100 types of substrate bacteria in a dormant state. When sprinkled over the base substrate, it helps establish a suitable microbial environment.

2. ADA Clear Super

Made with activated carbon and organic acid, Clear Super is designed to encourage microorganism growth within the substrate and help stabilize the substrate environment.

3. ADA Tourmaline BC

Contains tourmaline powder and bamboo charcoal. ADA describes it as a substrate additive intended to improve the substrate environment, with bamboo charcoal providing a suitable environment for microorganisms.

How to Use

During a new aquarium setup, prepare the tank base and sprinkle the Super Pour 100 components over the base substrate before adding the main aquarium soil or decorative substrate, following the product instructions. The additives are intended to become part of the substrate system rather than being mixed directly into the aquarium water.
