Bring vibrant fluorescent color and lively movement to your aquarium with the Glo Widow Tetra Fish, commonly marketed as a GloFish Black Skirt Tetra. This colorful ornamental fish is based on the Black Skirt Tetra and is known for its striking fluorescent appearance under suitable aquarium lighting.
The Glo Widow Tetra is an active freshwater community fish that can add a bright, colorful effect to planted and decorative aquariums. Its fluorescent coloration makes it particularly eye-catching when viewed under compatible blue or specialized aquarium lighting.
Like other Black Skirt Tetras, these fish are social and generally do best when maintained in a suitable group. Their active swimming behavior creates attractive movement throughout the aquarium, while their compact size makes them suitable for appropriately sized community setups.
Maintain Glo Widow Tetras in a suitable group, preferably with enough swimming space for their active behavior. Provide a combination of open swimming areas and aquarium plants or décor for cover.
Maintain stable water quality with effective filtration and regular partial water changes. Choose tankmates carefully and avoid aggressive species or fish that are significantly smaller and may be vulnerable to harassment.
