Electric Blue Ramirezi Fish

Electric Blue Ramirezi, also known as the Electric Blue Ram or Electric Blue German Blue Ram, is a stunning freshwater dwarf cichlid prized for its intense electric-blue coloration and elegant appearance. Its vibrant blue body, delicate fins and expressive features make it an eye-catching addition to a well-maintained aquarium. The Electric Blue Ramirezi is a relatively small cichlid and can be kept in a suitable community aquarium with peaceful, similarly sized fish. It looks particularly attractive in planted aquariums with natural décor, driftwood, rocks and open swimming areas. With proper water quality, stable parameters and a nutritious diet, this beautiful dwarf cichlid can become a standout fish in a planted or community aquarium.

Electric Blue Ramirezi perform best in a well-established aquarium with stable water conditions. Provide plants, driftwood, rocks and other décor that create natural territories and hiding areas while leaving sufficient open space for swimming. Good filtration and regular partial water changes are important because Rams can be sensitive to poor or rapidly changing water conditions.

Diet

Electric Blue Ramirezi are omnivorous. Offer a varied diet consisting of high-quality small cichlid pellets, micro pellets and suitable flakes, supplemented with foods such as brine shrimp, daphnia and other appropriately sized frozen or live foods.

Feed small portions that the fish can consume quickly and avoid overfeeding.

Tank Mates

Choose peaceful tank mates of similar size and temperament. Suitable options may include:

• Neon Tetras
• Harlequin Rasboras
• Corydoras
• Small peaceful Rasboras
• Other peaceful community fish
