The Bronze Corydoras (Corydoras aeneus) is a peaceful and attractive freshwater aquarium fish, popular among aquarists for its bronze-green body, active nature, and friendly temperament. This small bottom-dwelling catfish is an excellent addition to community aquariums and is well known for exploring the substrate in search of leftover food.
Bronze Corydoras are social fish that feel more comfortable when kept in groups. They spend much of their time searching the bottom of the aquarium, using their sensitive barbels to locate food. Their peaceful behaviour makes them suitable companions for many similarly sized, non-aggressive freshwater fish.
Easy to appreciate and enjoyable to observe, Bronze Corydoras are a great choice for beginners and experienced aquarium enthusiasts looking to add activity to the lower levels of their fish tank.
